SAA Goals and Vision Positioning
The SMART Accountants Association has established five clear, systematic core objectives to comprehensively empower the profession and give back to society:
Uniting and Supporting Senior Accounting Professionals
Establish a permanent exchange platform to gather senior accounting professionals in Hong Kong and the Mainland who possess rich experience and professional knowledge. Through in-depth, high-frequency communication and multilateral collaborative exchanges, we enhance profession cohesion, support one another, and jointly elevate the high standards of professional services.
Keeping Pace with the Pulse, Providing Lifelong Diverse Learning Opportunities
Closely track the latest trends in technology, fiscal and tax policies, and sustainable social development (such as ESG) to grasp the pulse of the times. Regularly host high-end continuous education seminars to assist senior accountants in breaking through old boundaries and creating the next peak of personal development.
Advocating a Healthy Balance Between Work and Daily Life
Beyond the tense and stressful workplace, we encourage members to discover brand new hobbies, sports, and interests. We guide the establishment of like-minded leisure communities (such as wine salons, mountaineering sports, and gardening discussions) to relax and share bits of life and life insights.
Sharing Unreservedly, Knowledge Nurturing and Experience Inheritance
Promote a master inheritance mechanism. Encourage senior accountants to act as guiding mentors for young accountants, sharing management, decision-making, and compliant business philosophies, ensuring that Hong Kong's financial services profession can continuously incubate the new generation of cutting-edge accounting talents urgently needed by society.
Promoting Professional Integration Between the Two Regions and Actively Offering Advice and Suggestions
Closely promote cross-border cooperation and exchanges with professional associations at all levels and scientific research institutions in the Mainland. Deepen connections and achieve mutual benefits at a macro level, collect professional opinions in a timely manner, and offer advice and suggestions to the SAR government or other important regulatory organizations, driving the high-quality and sustainable progress of the economy for the whole of Hong Kong and even the Greater Bay Area.
